Can I get an Estimate?
Yes, we provide free over the phone/text to better assist you.Â
Things we will need to know: Name, Phone number, Installed/delivery, City, Bale/mulch amount, and Form of payment.
What form of payments do you accept?
We take over-the-phone card payments
(Visa/MasterCard/American Express/PayPal/Discover and debit cards that bear the Visa or MasterCard logo.)
Our delivery drivers will only take cash or checks. You are also welcome to stop by and pay in person at our Norcross location. *Payment is due the week of serive*
Do I need to be at home when you make a delivery?
Not necessarily.
We will keep in touch throughout the time, if you will not be home please let us know and we can arrange where you would like the bales of Pine Straw stacked, and we will do the best we can!
What's the average bale size?
Unfortunately, there is no specific standard bale size. A typical bale is usually 26-28 inches in length and 10-13 inches in height and width.
Weight of bale:
The weight of a typical bale is 10-15 lbs depending on the size. Usually heavier when wet.
Length of pine needles:
- Long: 12- 18 Inches
- Short: 6 - 10 Inches
Coverage Area(approx.):
1 Long/Short bale cover 10x10 area.
1 yard Mulch/Topsoil covers 35 square feet.
Can I place mulch directly over pine straw:
Yes, the pine straw does not have to be removed, it breaks down quite easily so it will not interfere, working slowly to provide nutrients to your soil. Vise versa with mulch.
How much is a Roll of pine straw?
Each roll is more or less equal to 2.25 of the traditional bales and is net wrapped to prevent the loss of material. Approx. Size: 30"x18"
