Pine straw is the thick layer of needles dropped from pine trees, most drop in the fall. Its lightweight and quick and easy to install, helping your lawns health while also being visually appealing with its color and fine texture. Its hand raked and brought from the state of Florida.

Long leaf pine straw is the most commonly used in landscaping. It's significantly longer and thicker than short needle pine straw. It's considered LONG because the needles can range from about 12 to 18 inches in length.

Short leaf pine straw, also known as slash pine, is shorter in needle length 6 to 10 inches.
